Mechatronic Engineering (accreditation in progress)

The “Mechatronic Engineering” program is a three-year (six-semester) engineering curriculum that trains experts capable of designing, integrating, and maintaining innovative mechatronic systems. This multidisciplinary training covers mechanics, electronics, automation, embedded systems, and robotics. Students acquire skills in mechanical design through CAD/CAM and master electronics via power electronics, microcontrollers, and embedded systems. The curriculum emphasizes software and communication, including programming in C++ and Python, industrial communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Industrial Ethernet, and signal or image processing. Furthermore, the program explores advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, numerical control, IoT, and blockchain, while providing a foundation in industrial maintenance and project management. The training incorporates intensive practical application through projects, simulations using Matlab/Simulink or ROS, and internships to meet the specific needs of Industry 4.0 sectors like the automotive, aerospace, robotics, and automation industries.
